Healing from the Past, Reclaiming the Present, and Rebuilding the Future
Request an AppointmentWhen you’ve experienced trauma, it can feel like your world has been split into “before” and “after.” You may look fine on the outside, but inside, your body and mind are constantly on alert, waiting for the next thing to go wrong. Flashbacks, anxiety, shame, or emotional numbness may follow you, making it hard to feel safe or connected. At Achieve Serenity Therapy Center, I help individuals heal from the lasting effects of trauma, whether it began in childhood, in relationships, through war, displacement, or loss. Healing from trauma is not about forgetting your past; it’s about reclaiming your sense of safety, strength, and self.
Trauma is not just what happened to you, it’s what continues to live inside you. It can reshape how you think, feel, and connect to others. Trauma can be caused by a single event, like a car accident, or it can be cumulative, like years of emotional neglect or discrimination.
Common symptoms include:
Trauma changes the way your brain and body respond to stress, but therapy can help you rewrite those patterns and restore your sense of control.
Early trauma can shape every part of how you see yourself and the world. Whether you experienced neglect, abuse, or instability, we’ll work together to create safety, rebuild trust, and reconnect with your authentic self.
Pain can pass down through generations. I help clients understand how family patterns, cultural wounds, and inherited beliefs continue to affect their emotional health and how to break those cycles for future generations.
From toxic relationships and job-related stress to violence or loss, adult trauma can impact your ability to feel grounded. Therapy helps you process experiences that still feel “unfinished” and build emotional resilience.
When your identity or beliefs have been dismissed, shamed, or exploited, it can leave deep emotional scars. I provide a compassionate, culturally aware space to explore these experiences and rebuild self-worth and spiritual connection.
Sometimes, trauma isn’t one major event, it’s years of feeling unseen, controlled, or unloved. I help clients repair emotional wounds, build healthier attachment patterns, and learn what safe connection truly feels like.
Trauma can cause your nervous system to stay stuck in fight, flight, or freeze. I use trauma-focused, evidence-based therapies to help you regulate your body, reduce intrusive symptoms, and feel safe again.
Having worked directly with survivors of war, terrorism, and displacement, I specialize in supporting clients processing unimaginable loss and rebuilding their lives after conflict.
Trauma work isn’t just my specialty, it’s my life’s calling. For over 14 years, I’ve devoted my career to understanding and treating trauma in all its forms.
My dedication to trauma work led me to pursue advanced international training, beginning with a master’s in Crisis and Trauma Studies at Tel Aviv University, a world-renowned center for trauma research and intervention. Under the guidance of global trauma scholars and clinicians, I developed a comprehensive understanding of how trauma impacts individuals, families, and communities. I later expanded my clinical expertise with a second master’s from the University of Southern California (USC), integrating global trauma frameworks with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
My professional experience includes working with:
Today, in my private practice, I continue to help clients nationally and internationally navigate:
Intergenerational trauma, childhood trauma, adult trauma, emotional trauma, relational trauma, PTSD, acute stress disorder, and religious trauma.
My approach combines scientific understanding with genuine human connection. I bring not only education and experience, but empathy, humor, and deep respect for each client’s story.
You might notice patterns of anxiety, emotional triggers, or feeling detached from yourself or others. If you find yourself reacting strongly to situations that seem “small,” it may be a sign your body and mind are still protecting you from past pain.
Yes. Trauma rewires your brain, but therapy helps you rewire it back. With safety, consistency, and the right therapeutic tools, you can reduce triggers, improve relationships, and feel more in control.
Using a blend of evidence-based and somatic approaches, we’ll work to restore safety in both mind and body.
