What are your fees?

Therapeutic sessions are conducted over a 45-50 minute period.
• Individual Sessions: $200 for 45-50 minute session
• Couples: $250.00 for 45-50 minute session

Do you accept insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly.

Should you be interested in using your PPO insurance, I can provide a monthly “superbill” outlining services rendered, which you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

If you are interested in using your insurance, please contact your insurance provider prior to scheduling an appointment and inquire regarding their reimbursement policy for out-of-network mental health services.

Do you offer sliding scale fee options?

I hold three sliding scale spots each year in my practice, these spots are for individuals experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me directly to inquire if these spots have been filled.

How often do we meet?

Session are primarily held once per week. Many individuals find that this is just right for their specific needs, however there may be times when more than one session a week is needed. Each person and situation is unique.

Online Therapy / Telehealth Services?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all services will be available via online therapy known as Telehealth. Teletherapy sessions are offered in video-conferencing format, utilizing a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer. You will further need to have an internet connection. Telehealth gives clients the flexibility to schedule sessions in the comfort of their own home, private office, backyard, or nonmoving car.

What type of payments do you accept?

Achieve Serenity Therapy Center collects payments through the form of Credit card/ Debit card. Credit card/ Debit card information will be stored in a HIPAA compliant electronic health system known as IVYPAY, which will be set up before the start of the initial session. The card on file will be charged at the beginning of each therapeutic session.

What is your policy for cancellations or missed appointments?

Your appointment time is set aside and reserved for you. Therefore, Achieve Serenity Therapy Center requires 24 hours’ (one business day) notice to cancel an appointment, or you are expected to pay the full session fee. If your appointment falls on a Monday, please notify the center on the preceding Friday. Missed appointments/No Show appointments are charged the full session fee. Please understand that I am unable to offer exceptions to this policy.

What is your social media policy?

To maintain your confidentiality and our privacy, Achieve Serenity Therapy Center does not interact with current or former clients on social networking websites or applications. We do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking websites and applications including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. We will not respond to friend requests or messages through these applications.

What are your court-related service policies?

Achieve Serenity Therapy Center does not provide or perform evaluations for visitation, custody, or other forensic matters. We cannot, and will not, provide any testimony or reports regarding issues of custody, visitation, or fitness of a parent in any legal matters or administrative proceedings.
