My Approach

Therapy should not be one sided, I may have a few degrees next to my name, but you are the true expert of your life. I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership in which we will work together to identify your needs and establish the goals that you wish to accomplish for yourself. I am fortunate to work with adult individuals from all races, religions, ethnicities, genders, and cultural backgrounds. I am truly grateful to be able to work with a wide array of clients from professional environments including all spheres of the entertainment industry, professional athletes, medical professionals, the technological sector, creatives and many more. I help my clients navigate the difficult journey of healing from past and current traumas. Additionally, clients seek my services for anxiety, life transitions, burnout, addiction, and recovery, LGBTQIA+ concerns, perinatal mood disorders and therapy for millennials and adult generation Z’s.

Therapy Modalities

My work nationally and internationally has provided me with the skills to utilize Eastern and Western approaches when working with clients experiencing mental health-related disorders. I believe that therapy is not a one size fits all model and tailor my sessions to meet my client’s specific needs through evidence-based practices and mindfulness approaches.

Providing interventions and modalities that will help you:

  • Associate the linkage between how physical bodily symptom can be due to extreme stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, and emotional dysregulation.
  • Adapt coping skills and therapeutic tools to life outside of the therapeutic environment.
  • Learn how to set personal and professional boundaries with individuals in your life which will allow you to thrive.
  • Identify cognitive distortions, automatic negative thoughts and irrational perceptions which interfere with your daily functioning and gravely impact your life.
  • Process the trauma which lead you to seek therapy and begin to see how the past can affect the present and learn the coping mechanisms for it not to affect your future.
  • Define your personal beliefs and values to truly understand every aspect of your identity and sense of self
  • Provide a space for you to grieve the past and look forward to the future
  • Understand how your thoughts have a major impact on the way you act and feel

Some specific modalities that I use include, Eye Movement, Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR); Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Mindfulness; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Motivational Interviewing (MI); Mind Body Integration, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-CBT); Reiki; Intergenerational Trauma Therapy, Prenatal Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy; Narrative Therapy and Grief Counseling.
